Overall Goals
The UCSD DDRDC's overall goal is to provide the framework to facilitate research productivity, foster new research directions, and encourage collaborations to form among participating members. C-TREAT will promote interactions among scientists with diverse backgrounds, attract basic investigators to the study of digestive diseases as it relates to the theme of the Center and will foster translational research that can be put forth as models for therapies to control or prevent digestive-related disease progression.
